Pese a recibir reiteradas \u00f3rdenes de soltar el arma, la sospechosa se neg\u00f3 y comenz\u00f3 a apu\u00f1alar al menor. Ante el peligro inminente, dos oficiales dispararon sus armas reglamentarias, hiri\u00e9ndola de muerte. Guzm\u00e1n fue declarada fallecida en el lugar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ni\u00f1o sufri\u00f3 una profunda laceraci\u00f3n en el rostro y una herida en la mano. Fue trasladado al Children&#8217;s Nebraska, donde fue intervenido quir\u00fargicamente. Se espera que sobreviva, ya que sus lesiones no ponen en riesgo su vida.
